Our primary business is a fleet of 4x4 (4wd) vehicles, campers, cars and recreational vehicles available for hire for self drive purposes. The self-drive safari is a very economical, interesting and exciting way to explore the many attractions Southern Africa has to offer.

Many of Southern Africa's best game reserves, coastal areas and other attractions are only accessable by gravel roads and 4x4 (4wd) tracks, this is one of the reasons why a 4x4 vehicle is the ideal mode of transport and the most capable Safari vehicle. These all terrain 4x4 vehicles are all available as fully equipped and self contained campers. The extensive equipment provided like fridge - freezers, kitchen equipment and water tanks to mention a few, allows one to live out of the vehicles comfortably for extended periods. All the vehicles are carefully prepared and maintained by inhouse workshops and a thorough introduction to the vehicle and equipment accompanies each hire. Travel consultants are available to assist with route guidance and bookings.

INSURANCE :

1. Standard Insurance cover, which covers 95% of the vehicle’s value, is included on all vehicles and in all rates quoted. This is not full cover and an excess is applicable, the monetary value of which depends on the vehicle category.

2. Insurance cover is valid in the following countries: South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Swaziland, Malawi. Special permission is required for any other countries in Sub Saharan Africa.

3. Third party cover : the standard insurance cover includes third party cover for RSA, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho only. Third party cover  for any other country must be purchased at the port of entry.

4. Additional insurance cover is available at additional cost which offers reduced excess for both collision and theft damages. The cost of the collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft loss waiver (TLW) will vary depending on the vehicle category.

5. Tyre and windscreen damages are NOT covered under the standard insurance cover. Where the collision waiver is selected, the windscreen excess is a maximum of ZAR500.00 and tyre damages are not fully covered but the Hirers liability will not exceed the reduced excess amount.
